About Level 1 Management Package: This is a Litespeed httpd drop in Apache replacement software license with installation and management package where BLCC staff will monitor your server and take proactive measures to ensure minimal interruption to attacks up to 50 - 75 Mbps on average. The majority of DDoS attacks fall into this category and would be effectively eliminate by our expert assistance. Apache users (even those with so-called DDoS protection mods) and untrained users would otherwise experience complete service interruption in these scenarios.
About Level 2 Protection: This is a stateful inspection addon which inspects all HTTP and DNS connections for one IP at the network level to ensure the connection is a human user before allowing the connection. This protection stops burstable attacks up to 8 Gbps and sustained levels up to 500 Mbps.
About Level 3 Protection: This is the same as Level 2 protection but the sustained bandwidth level is increased to 1 Gbps. Level 3 with higher thresholds are also available by special request to sales@blacklotus.net . Level 3 users are also entitled to priority technical support and proactive monitoring and problem solving.
